"Whatever we paid you for the course you ran for us earlier this week, it wasn't enough! I feel as though a great fog has been lifted from my working life. I've been doing this job for over 20 years and I'd like to think I've got a pretty good idea of how to do the job. However, I have to say that your book "How to do a great job..." and the two days you spent with us was something of a floodlight moment in terms of better organising the way we manage projects and our personal working day. Yes, it is all quite simple and obvious, but so are many of the best ideas and theories. Your concern, I know, was that we'd all go home at the end of day two, forget about the nice Irish chap and go back to our old bad habits - which of course is exactly what happens on most training courses. You'll be delighted to know that although it's very early days there is a great buzz about the office and we're all rapidly introducing simple new practices that I'm sure will positively impact our business and get us all home on time far more frequently. On a personal note, having rapidly implemented some of your ideas I actually feel completely in control - and it's great!"
